Electrical Switchboard Upgrades
Switchboard
Your switchboard is the dashboard of your home’s electrical wiring. If your switchboard is getting old, you may be compromising your family’s safety and you should consider a switchboard upgrade.
We often need more power
our homes rely on many more appliances to run than they did even a decade ago. Most of us run computers, air conditioners, home theatres, microwave ovens, fitness equipment, pool pumps, stereos and more, it is important that the switchboard is able to handle the amount of electricity required by the household. If you have fuses blowing, power tripping, lights flickering then it’s almost certain you need to upgrade your switchboard.
Good reasons to upgrade your switchboard.
Safety Switch
this gives you the ability to cut down or restore power when necessary, a feature not present on older switchboards. An electrical safety switch is a crucial feature of modern switchboards.
Short-circuits
older switchboards are much more likely to short-circuit, meaning that there is a risk of fuses catching fire, or risk of electric shocks. If your current switchboard still uses replaceable wires on the fuses, it is a safety hazard and you need to upgrade your switchboard.
